How to Switch From the ActiveX Control Module to the Java Control Module

The Web-to-Host Control Module is used to control the downloading of BlueZone emulation clients and related files.

There are two versions, ActiveX and Java.  By default, the Wizard uses the ActiveX version for Internet Explorer, and the Java version for Netscape and other Java enables browsers.

You can configure BlueZone Web-to-Host to use the Java Web-to-Host Control Module for ALL browsers.

Feature Scope: Launch Folder Level Feature


To switch from the ActiveX Web-to-Host Control Module to the Java Web-to-Host Control Module, select the Use Java for Internet Explorer Users checkbox as shown here:

Procedure

  1. Launch the Web-to-Host Wizard.

  2. Navigate to the desired Site and Launch Folder.

  3. Click the Next button two times to bring up the Advanced Settings page.

  4. Click the Object Tag button.

  5. Place a check in the Use Java for Internet Explorer Users checkbox as shown:
