How to Enable Kerberos Authentication Protocol

Kerberos Authentication Protocol: Click here to learn more about this feature

Kerberos is the name of a computer network authentication protocol, which allows individuals communicating over an insecure network to prove their identity to one another in a secure manner.

Kerberos prevents eavesdropping or replay attacks, and ensures the integrity of the data.  It provides mutual authentication — both the user and the server verify each other's identity.

Configuration Method: Web-to-Host Wizard

Feature Scope: Launch Folder Level Feature

Kerberos Authentication Protocol is available only in the BlueZone VT Display emulator.  In order to enable the Kerberos feature, you must enable Kerberos in the Web-to-Host Wizard.

Procedure

  1. Launch the Web-to-Host Wizard.

  2. Navigate to the desired Site and Launch Folder.

  3. Click the Next button two times to bring up the Advanced Settings page.

  4. Click the Features button.

  5. Place a check in the Kerberos checkbox.

Enabling this feature will cause the Kerberos CAB file to be added to the list of files (default.dst) to be downloaded.
