Using the Display Interface
NOTE Starting
with BlueZone version 4.0, the Power
Keys feature is not enabled by default. Power Keys
have been replaced by Power Pads.
BlueZone Power Keys are customizable buttons allowing quick access to BlueZone VT menu functions or BlueZone menu functions. The BlueZone Power Keys may be viewed along the bottom of the BlueZone display or detached from the BlueZone display screen and displayed in its own window by clicking and holding the left mouse button between two Power Keys while dragging the mouse.
BlueZone Power Keys can be edited, added and removed from the Power Keys window.
To customize the Power Keys select View:Properties, then select the Power Keys tab; or simply double-click the left mouse button while holding the mouse pointer between two Power Keys. The Power Keys property sheet will then display.
Settings ----
Determines how the Power Keys will display on the BlueZone Display screen.
Show Power Keys: Determines whether or not the Power Keys are displayed.
Enable Floating Power Keys Window: If enabled then the Power Keys can be “dragged” off of the BlueZone window and sized / positioned independently on the screen.
Auto-Toggle Power Keys Mode to Function Power Keys on Connect: If enabled then BlueZone will set the Power Keys Mode to Function Power Keys when a connection to the host system is made.
Customize Power Keys ----
The Power Keys Setup group is used to add, remove and configure the Power Key buttons.
Power Keys Mode: Power Keys can operate in two different modes: as BlueZone Function Power Keys or as BlueZone Command Power Keys. When the BlueZone Display Session is Disconnected, the Power Keys operate as BlueZone Command Power Keys. When the BlueZone Display Session is Connected the Power Keys will operate in the manner configured.
NOTE The
Power Keys Mode can be toggled back and forth at any time by selecting
View:Power Keys Mode from the
BlueZone MenuBar, or by clicking
the Power Keys Mode
icon
on the BlueZone ToolBar.
Button: Selects the Power Key button to configure. This must be selected first when editing Power Keys.
Function: Associates the Power Key button with a function.
Label: Used to assign text to the Power Key button face.
Optional Filename: If a filename is entered then the Power Key function will use the specified file. Use the Browse button to search for a pre-configured file.
