Welcome

Welcome to BlueZone Java Web Manager Administrator's Guide.  This guide is intended to provide help in installing, configuring and using the BlueZone Java Web Manager.

Overview

BlueZone Java Web Manager is the "Web Enabled" management application for controlling the distribution and configuration of the BlueZone family of host connectivity products.

BlueZone Java Web Manager will run in most modern Servlet containers implementing the Java Servlet API 2.1 or higher.  It has been tested in IBM WebSphere 3.5 on OS/390, OS/400, Windows NT and Windows 2000, Windows 2003; in Caucho Resin on Linux 7.2, in Apache Tomcat 3.x on Win98/NT/2000; and Apache Tomcat 4.x on Win98/NT/2000, HP-UX, and Linux 7.2.

The BlueZone Java Web Manager must be installed on a web server that is accessible by your end users.

For over fifteen years, BlueZone Software has been a leader in the development of IBM host communications solutions.  With our IBM connectivity knowledge as a foundation, BlueZone was designed and developed with the following criteria as guidelines: functionality, speed, portability, and, most importantly, ease of use.  We believe we have succeeded and hope that this product will fulfill all your communications needs.
