How to Copy the Contents of the Status Window to a File

BlueZone Secure FTP has the ability to copy the contents of the FTP Status Window to the Windows clipboard which in turn allows you to copy this data to a text file.

Procedure

1. Establish an FTP Host connection and make any file transfers that you wish to capture in the Status Window.

2. From the MenuBar, select Edit:Copy Status to Clipboard.  The contents of the Status Window will now be stored in the Windows clipboard.

3. Launch Notepad.  Start:Run:Notepad.  Paste the contents of the Windows clipboard into the Notepad document by pressing CTRL + V.  The contents of the Status Window will appear in the Notepad document.

4. Save the Notepad document.
