All filenames, user input, keyboard keys, commands, menu options, list options, radio button options, check boxes, and push buttons appearing on the BlueZone user interface will appear in boldface type in this guide.
References to the ENTER key such as “then press ENTER” indicate that you must either press the ENTER or the RETURN key, whichever one is present on your keyboard.
The term “select” (e.g., “select the File option”) indicates that you may use one of the following methods to choose a dialog box element (including menu options, list elements, radio buttons, check boxes, and command buttons):
Use the mouse to point to the element, and then single click the left mouse button.
TAB or ARROW to the element, and then press ENTER.
Press the element’s hot key (the highlighted key in the element label), and then press ENTER.
Any text enclosed in < > is meant to be replaced by you with the actual desired text. For example, for the instruction: “Type BZMD.EXE /F <FILENAME.XXX>”, you would perhaps type: BZMD.EXE /F DEFAULT.ZMD.
Keystroke sequences are indicated by a comma between key names (e.g., ESC, ESC, ENTER).
Simultaneous keystrokes are indicated by a plus sign between key names (e.g., CTRL+C).
Menu Selections are indicated by a colon between member names in the menu hierarchy. For example, the Save As command is shown as File:Save As, indicating that the Save As command is a member of "File" located on the BlueZone MenuBar.
There are several naming conventions used throughout this guide. For clarity, several of the more commonly used terms are shown in the following illustration:
