Receiving a File from the Host

BlueZone has the ability to transfer files to and from the PC and the host system.  During the transfer, BlueZone will perform the file translation between the ASCII (PC) and EBCDIC (Host) character sets.  BlueZone supports Write Structured Fields file transfers as well as “screen-based” file transfers.

To receive a file from the host system:

1. From the BlueZone MenuBar select Transfer:Configure.  The Host File Transfer property sheet will appear.

2. Configure the transfer settings (See Host File Transfer).

3. From the BlueZone MenuBar select Transfer, Receive.

BlueZone will display a transfer status dialog showing the file transfer progress.  Any messages received from the host will be displayed in the Last Message text control.  To cancel a file transfer in progress press the Abort button.
