Software Activation File Update: Click here to learn more about this feature
It may be necessary during your evaluation to update your Seagull Software Activation File (SAF) file.
After you receive your new SAF file, all you have to do is copy it over your existing SAF file which is located on your web server.
Configuration Method: Manual Configuration
Feature Scope: Site Level Feature
If your BlueZone Web-to-Host evaluation has expired or, if you are converting your BlueZone Web-to-Host installation to a licensed version, you will need to update your Software Activation File.
Locate your Software Activation File (SAF), which was sent as an email attachment to you, or the person who ordered BlueZone. This email would have been sent from "SEAGULL Software Activation". The name of the file will either be seagull.saf or bzallwin.saf.
NOTE Because
of future products, it is possible that your SAF file may have a different
name.

On the machine where the BlueZone Web-to-Host Wizard is installed, navigate to the following location:
C:\Program Files\SEAGULL\BlueZone Web-to-Host\4.1
Copy the new SAF file over the existing SAF file.
NOTE From
this point on, any new Site that
you create using the BlueZone Web-to-Host Wizard will use the new SAF
file. Any
existing Sites that you may have
created will also have to be updated. Continue
with this procedure to update all your existing Sites.
On the web server where your BlueZone Web-to-Host server files are located, locate all the Site Folders that you created with the Web-to-Host Wizard. You should have created at least one Site.
For example:
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\MySite
Copy the new SAF file over the existing SAF file which you will find at the "root" of each Site Folder. Make sure you repeat the process for every Site Folder on your web server.
The next time each End Users access BlueZone Web-to-Host, the new Software Activation File will automatically be downloaded.
