Recording a Macro

BlueZone users may record mouse and keyboard events and save the results to a disk file for later playback.  These playback files can then perform complicated tasks like; log-in procedures, files transfers or even assist in data input.  The operation of recording mouse and keyboard events is called Recording a Macro.

To begin recording a macro:
  1. From the BlueZone MenuBar select Macro:Record.  If using BlueZone’s default settings, the Display Session will enlarge to occupy the entire screen and the Record Macro Common File dialog will pop-up.

  2. Enter a file name to save the Macro to and click Save.

  3. Once a file name is entered BlueZone will be in the record mode.  Begin recording the macro now.

To pause a macro recording:
  1. From the BlueZone MenuBar select Macro:Pause.

  2. To resume the macro recording select Macro:Pause again.

To stop recording the macro:
  1. From the BlueZone MenuBar select Macro:Stop.  If using BlueZone’s default settings, the Display Session will go back to its original size.
