Starts a SEAGULL Security Server trace using the parameters set in the Trace::Properties... dialog.
Stops a SEAGULL Security Server trace and closes the trace file.
Launches Notepad or Wordpad and opens the currently configured trace file.
Launches the Trace Properties dialog used to configure trace parameters. Set these options as directed by SEAGULL Customer Support when troubleshooting a problem. The trace files are stored in ASCII text and may be viewed using Notepad, Wordpad, or any other text editor.
Trace Options
The Trace Socket Interface checkbox enables tracing the socket interface in clear-text.
The Trace SSL Interface checkbox enables tracing the SSL interface.
The Trace Client radio button enables tracing a single client connection listed in the adjacent IP address edit box.
The Trace Connection radio button enables tracing all activity connection selected in the adjacent list box.
The Trace File: edit box provides a means to enter the filename for the trace file. All trace files are put in the Traces directory of the installation directory. Click the Browse... button to browse to the path and file.
Click the Start Trace button to start the trace using the currently displayed parameters.
Click the Stop Trace button to stop a trace in progress.
