Recording a Script

With BlueZone, users may record keyboard events and save the results to file for later playback.  The mouse can be used if there is a keyboard relation to the desired mouse task.  These files can then be used to perform complicated log-in procedures, prompt users for data input, execute file transfers or even assist in data input.  The operation of recording keyboard events is called recording a Script.

To begin recording a Script:
  1. From the BlueZone MenuBar select Script:Record or click the Record Script icon on the BlueZone ToolBar, and the Record Script  File Dialog will display.

  2. Enter a file name to save the Script and click the Save button.

  3. Once a file name is entered BlueZone will be in the record "mode" and begin recording the Script and storing the results to the Script file.

To pause a Script recording:
  1. From the BlueZone MenuBar select Script:Pause or click the Pause icon on the BlueZone ToolBar.

  2. To resume the Script recording select Script:Pause or click on the icon again.

To stop recording the Script:
  1. From the BlueZone MenuBar select Script:Stop. or click the Stop icon on the BlueZone ToolBar.
