Installation Requirements

Web Server Requirements

SEAGULL Web Manager is a Web enabled application written in Microsoft's Active Server Pages (ASP). SEAGULL Web Manager requires a web server running IIS 4.0 or greater, or other third-party software providing ASP processing capability such as that available from www.chilisoft.com.

Application Requirements

SEAGULL Web Manager can run on very limited system resources, but it is recommend to have a server with at least 64MB of RAM and 200MHz processor or greater. The server must also have the ODBC driver for MS Access version 3.51 or greater installed.

Web Client Requirements

Required to establish a connection with the web server hosting the BlueZone Web-to-Host components.

• Sufficient CPU and memory to run an Internet browser and other typical applications

Windows 95

Browser Requirements

• Internet Explorer 5.0 or greater

• Using the ActiveX Web-to-Host Control Module:

• Medium Security Settings

• Or Custom Settings with Signed ActiveX Controls and ActiveX Controls Marked Safe for Scripting enabled

• Using the Java Web-to-Host Control Module:

• J2RE 1.3 or higher installed and Java enabled

• Netscape 4.5, 4.78 or 4.79 with J2RE 1.3 or higher installed and Java enabled

• Netscape 6.0 or greater with J2RE 1.3 or higher installed and Java enabled

Note: Due to issues within Netscape, versions 4.75 - 4.77 are not supported
