The Print Queue Properties property sheet is used to configure Print Queue operating parameters. Options include Auto-Pause, Show/Hide Status dialog, Submit to Log, and Spool settings.
From the BlueZone MenuBar,
select Options:Print Queue, or
press the Print Queue icon on the BlueZone ToolBar.
The Print Queue Properties property sheet
will display. The
Options Tab will display:
Job Options ----
Auto-Pause Jobs Arriving in the Print Queue: If checked, jobs will automatically pause after spooling from the host. To print a paused job, select the desired entry and press the Resume button located on the BlueZone ToolBar.
Start Printing while Job is Spooling from Host: If checked, printing will begin while the job is still spooling from the host.
CAUTION! Print
while Spooling produces faster printer output but may reduce the accuracy
of the Auto-Page Orientation and
Auto-Size Fonts features.
Show Print Status / Abort dialog when Printing Jobs: If checked, the Print Status dialog will be displayed while a job is being sent to the printer. The Print Status dialog includes a Cancel button to terminate printing. A progress indicator displays how much of the print job has completed.
Submit Completed Jobs to the Print Log: If checked, the print job details will be submitted to the Print Log after the job has been sent to the printer.
Spool Settings ----
Base Filename: Used to set the base name that BlueZone will use when creating a unique filename for host print job spool files.
Spool Directory: Displays the directory currently configured to accept host print job spool files. To change the directory press the Browse button.
Browse: This button is used to change the destination directory where BlueZone stores spool files.
Maximum Pint Log Entries: Used to specify the maximum number of Print Log entries to be kept and displayed in the print log. Whenever the maximum number is exceeded, the oldest entry will be removed and the spool file automatically deleted from the disk.
The Print Queue and Print Log Listviews
