Connecting to the Host System - VT

VT Display Session Configuration

Prior to establishing a host system connection, BlueZone VT users must set Session Configuration parameters. Session configuration consists of:

BlueZone VT Display Session Configuration consists of Connections, Trace and License Manager setup.


Connections Tab

Telnet Connections ----

NOTE  The Edit Connection dialog is essentially the same as the Define New Connection dialog. Use the Define New Connection dialog as a reference for the Edit Connection dialog.

Trace Tab

Trace Options ----

These parameters specify the interfaces to be traced and the file name to which the trace file will be written. The trace files are in ASCII text format and may be viewed with Note Pad or Word Pad.

CAUTION!  This must be a valid path or the trace feature will not work.


License Manager Tab

The License Manager Tab will only appear if you are using a "Licensed" copy of BlueZone. If you are currently "evaluating" BlueZone this tab will not appear.

License Servers ----

Use this group to configure your SEAGULL License Manager IP address.


Group Information ----

This field is only used if you are using the Group feature of the SEAGULL License Manager.
