The SEAGULL Security Server consists of two components: the SEAGULL Security Server Service and the SEAGULL Security Server Manager. Both components should be installed on the same server, however, the SEAGULL Security Server Manager may also be installed on any NT/2000 server or workstation to configure and control the service remotely.
To install the Security Server Service and Manager:
Insert the CD or diskette into the appropriate drive
From the Start::Run menu Browse... to Setup.exe and click OK.
Enter the Destination Directory
Select the Installation Type.
Full Installation installs both the service and the manager applications.
Remote Configuration Manager is used to install the SEAGULL Security Server Manager on another NT/2000 system for remote operation of the service.
Select the Options for the Desktop icon and Program Group.
Click the Install button.
Once installed, click the Security Server Manager icon on the desktop to start the SEAGULL Security Server Manager.
