Installing BlueZone FTP is quick and easy. BlueZone FTP is shipped on the BlueZone CD-ROM. The BlueZone CD-ROM has an "autorun" program which will automatically launch the SEAGULL BlueZone Software "Splash" screen.
During installation, you will be required to enter a fourteen digit Registration Key. This Registration Key is provided by the SEAGULL Order Administration department and was provided to the person in your company who purchased the BlueZone FTP license.
Insert the BlueZone CD-ROM into your computer's CD drive. The SEAGULL BlueZone Software "Splash Screen" will appear.
Click on the BlueZone link and select BlueZone Secure FTP. You will be presented with the main BlueZone FTP Set-up screen.
Change the Installation and Working Directories as needed or take the default (recommended).
Enter your Registration Key.
NOTE Evaluation copies of BlueZone FTP do not require the Registration Key.
Respond to the questions in the Options box or take the default (recommended) and click the Install button.
Respond to the BlueZone Software License Agreement screen and click the Finish button.
The BlueZone FTP files will be installed and you will receive a message that the BlueZone FTP installation was completed successfully.
NOTE BlueZone FTP may be pre-configured and distributed along with BlueZone for the Desktop using several methods, including Zero Footprint Server Installation and Quiet Mode Installation. See the BlueZone Administrator's Guide for additional information.
The BlueZone Administrator's Guide (BzAdmin.doc) is provided on the BlueZone CD-ROM and can be found in the DOCS folder.
