Enable Secure Sockets Layer
When checked, the Secure Sockets Layer options may be selected enabling encryption and authentication services.
SSL Version
Selects the highest version of SSL or TLS BlueZone FTP will negotiate with the server. TLS is the latest version of SSL and is the recommended setting. BlueZone FTP can negotiate to a lower security level if the server settings allow
SSL V3
Selects SSL version 3, the most secure version of SSL. SSL V3 has been superceded by TLS V1.
TLS V1
Selects TLS (Transport Layer Security) version 1, the functional equivalent of SSL V3 that has been standardized by Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). All future enhancements to the protocol will implemented in subsequent versions of TLS.
Invalid Certificates
Selects how BlueZone will respond when presented with an invalid server certificate. Server certificates are considered invalid if they are; self signed, expired, are not from a trusted Certificate Authority (CA), or BlueZone does not have the reference certificate from the CA in its Certs directory.
Always Reject
Forces BlueZone to reject all invalid certificates without user intervention or override capability.
Ask Before Accepting
Prompts the user if an invalid certificate is presented and allows the user to view the certificate then choose to accept or reject it.
Always Accept
Forces BlueZone to always accept invalid certificates. This is the preferred setting if self-signed server certificates are used.
Preferred Cypher Suite
Choose the desired Cypher Suite from the "drop down list" if any. If you do not have a preference leave the setting at None.
Client Certificates
Specifies how to handle a client certificate.
Use Client Certificate
Specifies whether a client certificate should be presented.
Certificate File
Use the Browse... button to specify the file containing the client certificate
Private Key File
Use the Browse... button to specify the file containing the client certificate's private key.
