Passthrough Printing using ASCII Transparent Printing

ASCII Transparent Printing is used to print directly to an ASCII printer by sending ASCII data in the SCS printer data stream.  IBM printing applications like Advanced Function Printing (AFP) have the capability to produce Hewlet Packard Printer Control Language (PCL) printer data streams and Post Script printer data streams as well as several others. When printing through the SEAGULL Printer Emulators, the printer data is passed directly to the printer without any data conversion.
