Tool Bars

BlueZone and have several tool bars to enable quick access to any function.  The tool bars may be customized by each user or customized by the administrator to match the emulator being replaced.  

Tool bars types include:

The BlueZone ToolBar is completely user definable. Buttons can be removed, added and rearranged on the BlueZone ToolBar. To customize the ToolBar select View, Properties.... From the View Properties dialog, select the ToolBars... tab. There are four ToolBars available- Menu Buttons, 5250 Keys, Quick Colors, and Auto-Entry.

Settings

The Settings group is used to set the availability of the ToolBars on the desktop.

  Determines whether or not the ToolBar is displayed.

Enable to show / disable to hide the 5250 Keys toolbar.

Enable to show / disable to hide the Quick Colors toolbar.

 

Enable to show or disable to hide the Auto-Entry toolbar.

 

Customizing the Tool Bars

 

Menu Buttons and 5250 Keys

 

To change the buttons or properties of the Menu Buttons and 5250 Keys toolbars, click the Customize... button to the right of the toolbar to be changed.

Displays the buttons that you can add to the toolbar in the active window. To make a button available on the ToolBar select a button then press the Add-> button.

Displays the buttons in the order they appear (from left to right) on the toolbar in the active window. To remove a button from the ToolBar, highlight it then press the <-Remove button. To reposition a button, select it and with the mouse "drag" it to a new position; or select a button and press the Move Up or Move Down button.

Closes the dialog, accepting the changes you have made but will not be saved to the registry until the File, Save menu item is selected.

Restores the default set of buttons on the toolbar in the active window.

 

 

 

Quick Colors

 

To customize the Quick Colors toolbar, click the Customize... button associated with this toolbar. The Define Custom Colors dialog will appear. Choose the desired color then press the Ok button to accept the changes. The changes will not be saved to the registry until the File,Save menu item is selected.

Note: To use the Quick Colors tool bar, position your mouse pointer over the desired color on the Quick Colors toolbar and click once with the left mouse button. Drag the mouse pointer to the desired area on the display screen to change colors and click once with the left mouse button. If the color of letters are to be changed, make sure the cross-hatch is directly over a spot on the letter. If the cross-hatch is off by just a little bit, the background color will change.

 

 

Auto-Entry

 

To change the properties of the Auto-Entry toolbar, click the Customize... button associated with this toolbar. The Customize Auto-Entry ToolBar dialog will appear.

 

Options

 

If enabled then no new events will be added to the Auto-Entry toolbar drop-down list. Items may, however, be added to the list manually by typing in the Auto-Entry edit box.

If enabled then the last text event recorded for the screen will auto-send the associated AID-Key on playback.

If enabled then the last text event recorded for the screen will not auto-send an AID-Key on playback.

If enabled then IND$FILE host file transfers will be recorded in the Auto-Entry list.

If enabled then Macro playbacks will be recorded in the Auto-Entry list.

If enabled then Script playbacks will be recorded in the Auto-Entry list.

 

Select the Clear Auto-Entry List button to remove all entries from the Auto-Entry drop-down list.

 

 

ToolBar Button Styles

If enabled then toolbars will use the 3-D button style.

If enabled then toolbars will use the flat button style.
