Rocket TE installation

Rocket TE is distributed through a downloaded CD image.

The following steps are a high-level overview of the standard installation process:
  1. Review and ensure that your system meets the installation requirements.
  2. Install, upgrade, or modify Rocket TE.
  3. Register Rocket TE (first time installations only).
  • System requirements
    Ensure that the following system requirements are met before installing the Rocket TE Terminal Emulation Suite.
  • Installing Rocket TE 10.1.1
  • Upgrading to Rocket TE 10.1.1
    There are two methods to upgrade Rocket TE: upgrade to a new major version or upgrade within the same major version.
  • Modifying Rocket TE
    Rocket TE consists of multiple components. Most likely, you do not need to install all of the Rocket TE components. By default the Rocket TE installation wizard installs the following components (they are listed in the order that they display in the installation wizard Component Selection window):
